When we started this remodel the master bathroom had a large built-in tub and a small corner shower. Our clients preferred to have a larger shower over a tub, so we utilized that space to create a spacious shower with a wide bench and a beautiful treetop view with new shower-proof windows with frosted bottoms for privacy. The shower walls have 3×12” tiles and the herringbone shower floor tiles are the same finish as the plank-style flooring in the remainder of the bathroom. In the corner where the original shower and toilet were located, we were able to give them a private water closet. The new custom vanity stayed relatively in the same location, but with sleek new details, such as slab-front door and drawer fronts, matte quartz countertops, and contemporary vessel sinks with wall-mounted black faucets that could easily be found in a high-end boutique hotel.
