After completing our clients’ first floor, we were welcomed back to finish their second floor renovation, which included updating their stairs (new spindles, handrail, wood caps and carpet), adding Hickory hardwood floors to match the first floor, the hall bathroom, and the master bathroom. In the master bathroom, we wanted to add style, function, and aging-in-place features. We enlarged the shower to 4’x6′ and outfitted it with 12×24″ tile, which also runs up the bathroom walls, and a Jeffrey Court hexagon mosaic for the floor and accent band. A large bench topped with Caesarstone quartz and oil rubbed bronze grab bars, including a grab bar handheld shower, allow for extra aging assistance without taking anything away from the style of the bathroom. Other modern touches include a wall-mounted toilet and a ceiling-mounted splashless tub filler! The quarter-sawn oak vanity features hexagon accent tile, wall-mounted faucets, and Haefella LED mirrors that are backlit, front lit, fogless and Bluetooth capable! This well-appointed bathroom was finished off with heated floors to make those cold mornings just a little more enjoyable! We were thrilled to finish out this beautiful home for our clients to enjoy for many years to come. Be sure to check out the kitchen from this same home in our kitchen gallery.
