Urbandale Transitional

What a transformation this space has undergone! The original kitchen was closed off with walls on three sides that stopped at about 8′ high, despite having beautiful vaulted ceilings in the room. It was an awkward use of space and our AIM worked its magic, taking the former box kitchen to a large open space with lots of light entering from all directions. The back wall now houses a new drink station with floating shelves above, the refrigerator, range, and pantry cabinet. The sink is located in the over 12′ long island, which has room for six barstools! The custom cabinets and range hood are painted a soft white, while the black accents found throughout the renovated space tie into the dark island. Stunning, large-scale contemporary lights have enough presence without feeling heavy. The marble herringbone backsplash was carried onto the fireplace, and black accents continued with the mantle and new stair railing. New LVT flooring throughout finished off this massive renovation.
