After originally wanting a refresh on their kitchen space, our clients ultimately decided to commit to a complete remodel of their kitchen, and the end result could not be more beautiful. With White Oak cabinets and an earthy green island, this kitchen feels fresh and modern. While the layout didn’t change drastically, we added more storage and function, with taller upper cabinets, pantry cabinets with rollouts around the fridge, trash pullout, drawer spice racks, sheet pan dividers, and an appliance garage. We also removed an awkward angled desk space in favor of open shelves and lower cabinets.
This remodel didn’t stop in the kitchen. We updated flooring, doors, trim and window treatments throughout the entire first floor. We also completely updated the traditional oak stair railing for a more transitional look with iron balusters, stained handrail, and painted newel posts. The bookcases in the library area were replaced with a simpler style in an impactful shade of green. The old non-functioning stone fireplace was replaced with a sleek look with a stained mantle and working fireplace unit. We updated light fixtures and recessed lights where needed and fresh paint throughout the entire home. What an impressive transformation our team completed on this lovely home.
