This 1988 custom-built home near Saylorville was ready for a facelift when we took on the first of a series of remodel projects, starting with the kitchen, powder and laundry room. We removed a wall in the kitchen/dining area to allow for family gatherings with the couple’s children and many grandchildren. To accommodate all the extra visitors, we went with a 48-inch range with double ovens, which becomes a real showpiece with the other appliances being paneled. The perimeter countertops are Cambria quartz, and the contrasting 3” Lyptus island countertop adds warmth to the all-white kitchen while still being extremely durable. The crown, ogee edge profile of the island adds character to the space, as do the glass cabinet knobs. After completing the first floor we renovated the master and hall bathroom, followed by the basement bathroom for phase three; there truly is no better compliment than when we are brought back for additional projects.
We can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience with AIM Kitchen and Bath. It’s been over 5 years now since designer, Alex, walked into our house and transformed our kitchen. Every day we bless the work and the workers who made this beautiful, efficient, warm , inviting kitchen. We have had so many compliments over the years. Alex made the transformation and all the choices so easy for us. His expertise took us smoothly through the whole process, making something that was pretty complicated feel very simple for us. The crew who did the work were gentlemen and fun to have around. Everything was cleaned and put in order each evening as they left. It really was a wonderful experience for us and we now consider the guys from AIM friends of ours. Since our initial kitchen project, we’ve had AIM back to remodel three bathrooms. Each subsequent experience was every bit as good as our first experience. Professional, friendly, neat and creative. They are the best!
