Classic with a twist! We love that our clients’ wanted to do a two-tone kitchen, sometimes referred to as a “tuxedo” style, which is a way to bring in a little color without fully committing. White upper cabinets and dark charcoal base cabinets are connected by the veining found in the Cambria quartz countertops. The pale gray beveled hexagon backsplash compliments the countertops, while also adding dimension. Another fun twist is the placement of the cabinet pulls on the doors horizontally instead of the traditional vertical placement. A contemporary range hood and a farmhouse style sink bring both modern and classic touches. And finally, we removed a traditional pantry in favor of a wall of pantry cabinets with rollouts.
