A beautiful traditional kitchen with modern functionality. Although we completely gutted this space, the appliances went back into relatively the same locations, however, the big change came in removing the peninsula that divided the kitchen and eat-in area. We also removed a built-in desk and closet pantry to create an entire wall of pantry space around the refrigerator. The traditional cherry cabinets are balanced out by the modern 12×24” floor tile and Cambria Quartz countertops, which both work perfectly with the linear Travertine tile backsplash. A truffle colored undermount sink and oil rubbed bronze accents round out this traditional meets modern space.
