This kitchen went through a huge transformation, starting with the removal of a wall separating the kitchen and living room. The 42″ custom shaker-style cabinets, with mission crown molding, in a warm brown finish compliments the new 5″ hickory floors, and works well with the existing oak trim. The massive 60×82″ island provides ample storage and seating for five. The Cambria countertops and 3×6″ matte glass subway tile in a champagne color look beautiful with the stained cabinets. The Blanco sink, stainless appliances and sleek cabinet hardware add a modern touch to this space. We also replaced the patio door and updated the homeowners’ stair railings with black spindles and an oak handrail, all of which are visible from the kitchen.
