Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the services provided by AIM Kitchen and Bath (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) to the client (“Client”, “you”, or “your”). By signing a proposal, contract, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services

AIM Kitchen and Bath provides remodeling services including, but not limited to, kitchen and bathroom renovations, design consultation, and installation services. The scope of each project will be outlined in a written agreement or estimate signed by both parties.

3. Estimates and Proposals

All estimates provided are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated. Final costs may vary based on material prices, changes in scope, or unforeseen conditions. Any changes to the original scope must be agreed to in writing and may affect the total project cost and timeline.

4. Payment Terms

  • A deposit of [typically 30-50%] of the total project cost is required before work begins.
  • Progress payments may be required at various project milestones.
  • Final payment is due upon completion of the work and prior to the release of any warranties.
  • Late payments may be subject to interest charges of 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by law.

5. Project Timeline

We strive to complete projects on schedule; however, delays may occur due to weather, material availability, permit approvals, or other unforeseen circumstances. We are not responsible for delays outside our control.

6. Permits and Inspections

We will assist in obtaining necessary building permits unless otherwise agreed. The Client is responsible for any associated fees unless otherwise stated in writing. Inspections required by law will be scheduled as needed.

7. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide access to the property during normal working hours.
  • Remove or protect personal belongings and furniture from the work area.
  • Make decisions and approvals in a timely manner to avoid project delays.

8. Changes and Cancellations

Any changes to the project after work has begun must be documented and may result in additional charges and timeline extensions. Cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee and reimbursement for costs incurred up to the cancellation date.

9. Warranties

We offer a 3 year workmanship warranty from the date of project completion. Manufacturer warranties on materials and appliances may vary. Warranty claims must be made in writing.

10. Limitation of Liability

AIM Kitchen and Bath shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided.

11. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through informal negotiation before pursuing legal remedies. If unresolved, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of Iowa.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the state of Iowa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. SMS Terms & Conditions

a- SMS Consent Communication:

The information (Phone Numbers) obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

b- Types of SMS Communications:

If you have consented to receive text messages from AIM Kitchen and Bath, you may receive messages related to the following:

  • Appointment reminders
  • Follow-up messages
  • Billing inquiries
  • Promotions or offers (if applicable).

Example: “Hello, this is a friendly reminder of your upcoming appointment with AIM Kitchen and Bath at [Location] on [Date] at [Time]. You can reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging from (Brand Name) at any time.”

c- Message Frequency:
Message frequency may vary depending on the type of communication. For example, you may receive up to [X] SMS messages per week related to your [appointments/billing, etc.].

d- Potential Fees for SMS Messaging:

Please note that standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier’s pricing plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally.

e- Opt-In Method:

You may opt-in to receive SMS messages from AIM Kitchen and Bath in the following ways

  • Verbally, during a conversation
  • By submitting an online form
  • By filling out a paper form

f- Opt-Out Method:

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To do so, simply reply “STOP” to any SMS message you receive. Alternatively, you can contact us directly to request removal from our messaging list.

Additional Options:

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with any signed agreement or proposal, constitute the entire agreement between AIM Kitchen and Bath and the Client.
